Whether you use American, cheddar, or Swiss, we all think we make a pretty good grilled cheese. But do you think you have the chops to go up against the best local chefs, home cooks and closet cheese-masters in Boston? Come show off your skills or just enjoy the tasty treats on Sunday, November, 4th to help raise money for a great local charity – Lovin Spoonfuls Food Rescue (http://www.lovinspoonfulsinc.org/).
Watch the grilled cheese experts compete in the grilled cheese cook-off and sample their wild creations. There will be beer and wine from 90+ Cellars served, entertainment, great raffle prizes, and lots of America’s favorite comfort food – grilled cheese (duh).
This event takes place from 12pm-5pm at the Seapoint Restaurant (367 East Eighth Street)
$20 donation to this delicious event with proceeds going to Lovin Spoonfuls. The Patriots have the weekend off – so why not? After the grilled cheese battle head downstairs to the Seapoint Bar and watch NFL Football on their new 82 inch screen. Might as well keep the party going? Right?
