Celebrate the Planet Southie’s Green Globe Awards on Thursday, September 26th from 6pm-9pm at the Distillery (516 East Second Street).
Nominated and selected by South Boston residents, 2013 Green Planet Awards will go to the following South Boston residents and organizations whose contributions have helped build a greener, healthier South Boston.
Individuals:
- Mary Cooney and Lucky Devlin (Legacy Award)
- Jon Ramos, Southie Bikes (Newcomer Award)
- Mary Lou Rosher, South Boston Farmers Market/WIC (Heart of Kindness Award)
Organizations:
- South Boston Grows (Seeds of Hope Award)
- The Youth Ambassadors (Daring Dreamers Award)
- The South Boston Neighborhood Development Corporation (Connector Award)
There will be food, refreshments, door prizes and plenty to surprise and delight!
