Goodbye Loyal Crown Smoke Stack

If you’re into seeing things collapsing into a heap of rubble, head down to Old Colony Ave and Damrell Street on Friday at high noon.  The landmark smoke stack is going to be demolished to make way for the new Washington Village development.

History of Loyal Crown:
Loyal Crown Linen Service opened in South Boston on Damrell back in 1933.  Now know as Crown Uniform and Linen Service is owned and operated by the Spiliotopoulos family!  Crown now has locations in Brockton, New Hampshire and Connecticut.

Special thank you to Eileen Murphy for the photo!
