2 alarm fire
It seems like Foodie’s can’t catch a break. After a few delayed starts of construction, and openings postponed, Foodies, located at 230 West Broadway, seemed as though its luck was changing. With a soft opening scheduled for next week, Foodie’s Urban Market was one step closer to opening its doors. That is, until this morning, Tuesday, November 13th. A fire broke out in the basement of the building at approximately 11am and spread quickly to the roof. The building suffered damages cause by smoke and water from the sprinklers. No injuries were reported.
