We have been waiting with baited breath.  We’ve heard the rumors.  We’ve seen the construction.  We’ll, we believe the wait is over.  The local grocery and specialty store, Foodie’s Urban Market, located at the corner of C and West Broadway, has a soft opening planned on either November 27th or November 28th.  An early December opening is in the works.

In other supermarket news:
The developer of a new six-acre project called Ink Block South End will construct 471 luxury apartments, retail and restaurant space at the home of the former Boston Herald site on Harrison Ave.  As part of this project, a 50,000 square foot supermarket, Whole Foods will open in 2014.  It will be the fifth and largest Whole Foods in the city.
