Here’s a message from parade organizers:

The South Boston Allied War Veterans Council is always looking for new ways to help our sponsors as they help us, One way of helping is by advertising their business’ to our social media audience to promote their brand. We have found a new innovative approach that consolidates the information of all of our sponsors in a fun and unique way!

Google Maps has a program called ‘My Maps’ where you can make your own personalized map highlighting areas of interest to you and your audience. So we decided to put our sponsors on a map that everyone online can see!

We wanted to keep this as simple as possible for everyone that checks out the map. We have six different donation brackets that we have broken down by different colors, and we have sectioned them off by their types of industries such as; Restaurants/Bars, Hotels/Events Spaces, Financial Services, etc.

  • Yellow=$500-$999
  • Orange=$1,000-$2,999
  • Red=$3,000-$4,999
  • Blue=$5,000-$14,999
  • Purple=$15,000-$19,999
  • Green=$20,000 or more

So far we have 20 organizations on the map such as; Gillette, Massport, The Dropkick Murphys, TD Bank, Cambria Hotel, and Roza Lyons. That is only just a few of the organizations that we have on the map that range from local to international organizations, and we are all proud to have them with us.

We are still very open to having more business’ join us in putting on one of the biggest events in New England, and we are more than happy to give them the exposure they rightfully deserve for supporting us.
