Kicks off on Saturday, June 20th

Calling all families!  Mayor Marty Walsh announced that the M Street entrance of the L – aka Boston Centers for Youth and Families (BCYF) Curley Community Center will be a family friendly beach. Families will have access to restrooms, picnic tables with umbrellas, free wifi, beach games and more! The cost of a family membership for $5 for the year!  Can’t beat that! 

“Boston is a city on the water and the Family Friendly Beach will make it easier for our families to access our beautiful and clean Harbor in a family-friendly setting,” said Mayor Walsh. “

The Family Friendly Beach will be open seven days a week through Labor Day weekend from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends.  Memberships are available at the K Street entrance of the Center.
