UPDATE: Saint Patrick strikes again! This sign (below) was spotted by Eileen Murphy on Roza Lyons patio fence over the weekend!

Have you seen them? Brightly painted artwork reminding Southie residents to wear masks and practice social distancing. They’ve been spotted all over the City Point neighborhood – on the library fence, on the beach, near bus stops. All of them have the words “Saint Patrick 2020” on them.
Banksy is an anonymous England-based street artist and political activist who’s artwork pops up all over the world. So is Saint Patrick’s Southie’s version of Banksy?

This one has a flyer taped to it – with a photo fo two women with Mayor Marty Walsh and it reads, “Hey Karen, Do they look worried?” We’re assuming the person how put the flyer on the sign was calling Saint Patrick a “Karen”.
Bottom line, the message is, wear a mask and practice social distancing when out and about.
