Caught in Southie

Sharon and Michael Hayes from East Fourth Street pulled into their garage (yes – they have a garage in Southie), to find this coyote fast asleep.  Michael honked his horn and the coyote took off running down towards L and East Fourth.

It is not uncommon to spot coyotes in Southie – apparently they come here for the Canadian Geese and for the lively bar scene.  Although they look cute, they can be aggressive, so beware.
