This past Sunday, The Boston Globe Magazine came out with their annual Best of the New list of new restaurants, shops, people, ideas and more. Congratulations to the Southie spots that made it on the list!
Sweetgreen – 372 Congress St. – It’s salad heaven at this Congress Street location. Fresh ingredients prepared right in front of you by friendly staff. Perfect lunch place for new year’s resolutions!
Pastoral – 300 Congress St – This hip and happening Neopolitan pizzeria has creative pizza, homemade pasta and fun cocktails. Lots of energy in this fun new Fort Point spot!
Bastille Kitchen – 49 Melcher Street – The ambiance is Bastille Kitchen is conducive for both romantic dinners or fun get togethers. Featuring a menu filled with delightful french food, Bastille Kitchen also features a special neighborhood Sunday night supper for $38. Make sure to stop for a drink at their cozy bar Chalet – complete with fireplace!
The Lawn on D – This interactive green space was THE hot spot this past year with creative outdoor events like Patriots Tailgating, illuminated swings, pumpkin fest, and even the Fire in Ice Festival! Looking forward to another season in the spring!
