Get to know the dogs in the neighborhood! Our new series – CIS Dog of the Day – will feature a new dog from the neighborhood.
Olaf is quite the dog about town. He’s the Reading Therapy Dog at the Condon Library and has made appearances at the South Boston BPL and other libraries in the area. As a registered visiting volunteer therapy dog, Olaf also visits hospital patients and senior citizens in a memory care unit, shaking paws and doling out snuggles and sloppy puppy kisses.

“The fish treats at Polka Dog, but I’ve never turned down a hotdog from Sully’s.”
Any particular life goals?
“It is my heart’s desire to walk downtown and to chase the BIG-BIG birds on the pond!” (AKA the Swan Boats. That’s a hard “no,” Olaf!)
