Après at The Current Brings a Cozy Winter  Shopping Experience to Seaport on September 25

Skis and Lift Tickets Not Required:  The Current Transforms for Fall/Winter 2025 with  a Fresh Mix of Nine Pop-Up Shops

Boston, MA – September 10, 2025 – The Current returns to Boston Seaport on Thursday, September 25, with an après-ski inspired theme to kick off the fall and holiday season in the neighborhood. Open through February 28, 2026, this festive seasonal pop-up destination will feature nine uniquely curated brands offering guests a chance to explore, savor and celebrate the most wonderful time of the year and beyond!

To celebrate the grand opening of Après at The Current, on Friday, September 26th, from 4pm – 6pm, visitors can enjoy an evening of shopping with exclusive perks and treats, including a complimentary tote with personalized embroidery by The Current alum, Goody Great, après drink specials and DIY bouquets with Pours and Petals, soft pretzels and waffle pops by Puffy Clouds, and DJ-spun tunes. Additionally, guests who present the Seaport Insider app on their phone during the event will receive a special Aprés swag giveaway, available at the event check-in. Après at The Current brings together a mix of nationally recognized names, local favorites and women-owned businesses. This season, shoppers will find both returning favorites and new concepts at The Current, offering a range of food, fashion, and lifestyle brands, making it a cozy shopping destination for this fall and winter.

Après at The Current lineup includes: 

  • Archive Knitwear – New to The Current, local knitwear brand Archive Knitwear offers unique handmade pieces designed for the modern woman. Crafted to be timeless and cherished for generations, each piece is produced in small batches, only using sustainable natural fibers and is designed in the United States. At The Current, Archive Knitwear will be launching new styles of hats and a limited selection of throw blankets, pillows, and holiday ornaments.
  • Baked by Melissa – Returning for its fourth season at The Current, the NYC-based dessert brand Baked by Melissa is bringing its beloved handcrafted bite-size cupcakes back to Boston. Available in a wide variety of flavors, each mini treat is made by hand with only the most delicious ingredients like real Oreos, Hershey’s Fudge and Skippy peanut butter. Guests can look forward to seasonal and holiday collections, along with nut-free, gluten free, and vegan options, plus unique gift boxes for every occasion.
  • BROdenim – BROdenim, the custom clothing brand known for its personalized,  made-to-order designs, is returning for its third season at The Current this Fall/Winter 2025. The brand specializes in creating one-of-a-kind pieces tailored to each customer’s unique style, with a wide selection of patches to make each item personal. This season, shoppers can expect fresh designs, including patches celebrating local colleges and new official NBA options for fans to show their support for the Boston Celtics in style. Founded by Boston native Laura Brodigan, BROdenim reflects her passion for design, female empowerment, and entrepreneurship.
  • Coastal Caviar – The Boston-based, woman-owned jewelry and lifestyle brand believes charms are what separate jewelry and jewelry with meaning. Founded in January 2024, Coastal Caviar quickly became the leading premium charm necklace brand, thanks to virality on TikTok. What makes Coastal Caviar special is complete customization. With over 250 charms to choose from, Coastal Caviar allows shoppers to make each piece their own. Whether it be a traditional charm necklace or a bag charm, the design is entirely in their hands. To celebrate Coastal Caviar’s second season at The Current, shoppers will find a Boston necklace exclusive to the pop-up, as well as fresh new charms, exciting product launches, and additional customization options, including a name necklace.
  • Gus & Ruby – Founded by best friends, Whitney Swaffield and Samantha Finigan, in 2009, Gus & Ruby is a local design and print studio offering a carefully curated selection of artisan stationery and fine gifts for the home and office. Back for its second consecutive season at The Current, shoppers will continue to find the perfect card, gift, and treat to celebrate every moment, from the small joy found in a sunny afternoon to all of life’s major milestones. During September and October, the pop-up will feature festive halloween-themed items and beginning on November 1, the shop will transform into a winter wonderland, filled with ornaments, unique gift wrap, ribbons, stocking stuffers and more.
  • Joy Street – Returning for its third season at The Current, Joy Street is a Boston-based baby, kids, and women’s pajama and apparel brand featuring hand drawn prints by founder & artist Eliza Ferrel. All prints are inspired by New England and Eliza’s travels to places like Nantucket and Jackson Hole, with several new themes launching this season such as football, hockey, and new Christmas prints. Shoppers can also purchase recent favorites, such as “Dinos” and “Boats”, alongside the classic Boston prints at The Current location. Joy Street products are 100% Peruvian Pima Cotton, made in small batch women-run factories using non-toxic and hypoallergenic materials. In addition to pajamas and apparel, Joy Street at The Current will offer children’s books, toys, and unique items that make any gift special and complete.
  • Lucy and Jane – New to The Current and offering the perfect beverage for the cooler months, Lucy and Jane puts an exciting twist on authentic matcha with its two signature blends – Lucy and Jane. Sourced from Japan’s lesser known regions, their matcha provides a unique flavor and celebrates the diversity of the beloved tea. Lucy and Jane will also be introducing Bom Bom at The Current, their take on filled brioche donuts and bomboloni, as well as limited-time holiday-inspired beverage flavors and fillings for the donuts.
  • Min & Mon – New York based Colombian fashion brand, Min & Mon creates hand designed bags, wallets, and accessories, reflecting a soulful human experience. Inspired by city living and its vibrancy, each creation is its own whimsical story written by Min&Mon. The first-time pop-up at The Current is here to bring shoppers their new favorite statement piece and will be offering customization to make them truly one-of-a-kind.
  • The Sweetish Fish – The Sweetish Fish will make its debut at The Current with a modern day candy store that perfectly combines nostalgic charm with the buzz of Swedish candy and other international treats seen across social media. Embracing its playful fish themed name, the shop will offer guests a similar experience to one at a bustling fish market. Candy shoppers will take a number, get in line, and pick their selection from the counter filled with the “Catch of The Day”. The Sweetish Fish will offer a curated selection of candies daily that can be purchased by the ounce or in a pre-packed bag for convenient grab-and-go. Shoppers can also take home a store-exclusive fishnet tote with their purchase.

Après at The Current will be open September 25, 2025 through February 28, 2026. Operating hours are Monday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm and Sunday from 12pm to 6pm. Après at The Current will be closed on public holidays.
