A simple story of kindness

During pandemic times, it’s nice to share a story of kindness! We need them!
Southie resident, Eileen Murphy shared this story with us via twitter!
“So this happened today. In line at DJs Polish Market in Dot & I let the construction worker on lunch break go ahead of me as capacity strictly enforced. Said wasn’t in a hurry. Go to pay for groceries & the man had put $20.00 toward my bill. Was dumbfounded.”
It’s random acts up kindness like this that make us smile and inspire us to pay it forward. So maybe today, or this weekend, you perform a simple act of kindness! It’s good for the soul!
Thank you for sharing, Eileen!
