Do you want to jump-start your career and learn more about opportunities in the construction industry? Join the virtual 776 Summer Street Job fair. You’ll hear the project team and local industry experts about potential careers, union apprenticeships, and local pre-apprenticeship programs in different building trades. Here’s a chance to gain access to jobs that have hands-on training and ways to earn as you learn.
“Our 776 Summer Street project will create hundreds of construction-related jobs over the next several years, with positions in a variety of trades. This job fair is a chance for people to learn about the different career opportunities, from pre-apprentice levels to experienced journeypeople. This project will provide residents a way to gain experience in the trades, build access economic opportunities and create pathways to long-term careers,” said Melissa Schrock, Senior Vice President, Hilco Redevelopment Partners.
Suffolk Construction, HRP and Redgate will be holding the virtual job fair on Monday, November 1st from 5:00-6:30 pm, in partnership with Building Pathways, Youth Build Boston, Metro Building Trades Council, North Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters and Excel High School.
