Who knew?
We certainly didn’t! For years, we’ve been following Broma Bakery on Instagram for their delicious recipes, helpful tips, and eye-catching photos and videos! On Tuesday, the Boston Globe posted a story, “For this Southie-based blogger, food is everything — including a big part of her success story,” so we immediately read it. Holy Moly, we were so excited to read that Broma Bakery, with over 830K followers on Instagram and over 1M on TikTok, creates its magic right here in the neighborhood!
Originally from Belmont, Sarah Crawford, 32, launched her food blog, Broma Bakery, back in 2010 while studying at the University of Michigan. After graduating in 2013, Crawford gave herself two months to monetize her website, and the rest is history.
According to the Globe, Crawford has a team of four working for her and leases “an all-white studio with high ceilings and large windows” right here in South Boston. This space serves as the content creation and recipe-testing headquarters!
If you don’t follow Broma Bakery on Instagram or TikTok, you should. We still follow her “level up” recipe to create bakery-style brownies from a box. Amazingly delicious!
