Sweet News: Levain is Coming to the Seaport District
Levain Bakery, the iconic, award-winning bakery, will be making its delicious Seaport debut this Fall at 107 Seaport Blvd. The upcoming Seaport opening marks Levain’s second retail bakery in Boston, with the first one on Newbury street in the Back Bay.
Founded in 1995 by Pam Weekes and Connie McDonald, Levain Bakery has made its name as the purveyor of the famously crispy outside, ooey-gooey in the center, giant cookies that have long been on every must-eat list. What began as a tiny neighborhood wholesale bread bakery, Levain has since built a passionate fan base and avid following worldwide for its decadent treats. Following the success and community support of the Back Bay location, which opened in 2022, Levain believes the Seaport will be the perfect neighborhood to strengthen their presence in Boston.
The Seaport bakery will serve up Levain’s legendary signature cookie flavors: chocolate chip walnut, dark chocolate peanut butter chip, dark chocolate chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin, and two-chip chocolate chip, coconut caramel chocolate chip, plus chocolate chip walnut made with gluten-free ingredients. In addition to the full slate of Levain’s world-famous cookies, the bakery will also feature pastries, loaf cakes, bread and rolls, and decadent sticky buns, as well as tea, coffee, and espresso beverages.
