Southie Field Trip: Drifters Kitchen and Bar in Quincy

Caught in Quincy: Let’s take a field trip to Quincy, the city of presidents, to our south.
There’s nothing better than a great neighborhood hangout, and Drifters Kitchen and Bar in Quincy is serving up just that. Owned by former Loco Will Falaro, Drifters has all the makings of a new local fave—think retro divey-chic with leather booths, neon signs, and a 1 a.m. close time (which we fully support).
The menu? Pure comfort. Steak frites au poivre, pizza, wings, arancini, and a signature burger that looks like a must-try. There’s also a full bar with craft cocktails, a solid wine list, and drafts to keep the good times rolling.
Best part? It’s just a quick Red Line ride away, making it an easy field trip from Southie. So, if you’re looking to switch things up but still want that cozy, welcoming energy, Drifters might be your new spot.
Check out their menu here. Make sure to follow Drifters on Instagram too for the latest.
