The family behind the iconic JJ Foley’s Cafe in Boston’s South End just released the first rendering of The Backyard by Foley’s, a massive new outdoor concept opening in Dennis Port this June.

The project is being billed as Cape Cod’s largest family-friendly outdoor venue and will feature a nearly 5,000-square-foot sail-covered circular main bar, lawn games, food trucks, outdoor movie nights, live music, kids programming, yoga, farmers markets, and collaborations with local businesses.

Construction is actively underway now, with a mid-June opening target.

Mike Foley, co-owner of The Backyard by Foley’s, says:

“We wanted to create the kind of place where people walk in, take a deep breath, and instantly feel like they’re having a great summer day on Cape Cod. That’s actually why one of the focal points of the space says, ‘Today is a great day to have a great day.’ It sounds simple, but that’s the entire spirit of what we’re building here — a place for families, friends, music, food, and those summer moments people remember long after vacation ends.”
