Just in time for Sail Boston 2017 this weekend, Boston brewer Samuel Adams has a new brew appropriately named Tall Ships Ale. Look for the bottle with the logo featuring a tall ship with billowing white sails against a gorgeous yellow/orange sky. This new brew is no coincidence, the limited release beer was created specifically for Sail Boston – a five-day festival that kicks off on Saturday, June 17th for the Parade of Sail!
According to a blog on the Samuel Adams website, Tall Ships is crisp and refreshing “that will quench anyone’s thirst on a summer day.” It’s brewed with two-row pale malt blend and malted wheat for a crisp body, American Citra hops for a tropical fruit and slight citrus from orange peel as well as coriander and grains of paradise for a balanced peppery bite.
