Oh no!  After more than a decade of business on the Southie Waterfront,  Salvatore’s has closed its doors.  According to boston.com, owner Peter Ackerman made the decision after months of financial wrangling.

We’re hoping this isn’t a sign of things to come for businesses in the Seaport District.  Ackerman stated that business has dropped off and other restaurants have noticed it too.  “It just got to us first,” said Ackerman.

Just last week it was announced that another Southie restaurant  The Maiden had to close.  The Boston Globe also reported that Casa de Pedro is struggling to stay opened in the Seaport.
