Raise Your Glass: Cisco Brewers coming to Southie

Cisco Brewers is bringing a slice of Nantucket to the Seaport District! Beginning Wednesday, August 29th enjoy a new pop-up beer garden featuring Cisco Brewers award-winning craft beer and wine, paired with raw bar and tacos from Loco Taqueria & Oyster Bar.

This pop up will be open weekly Wednesday through Friday, from 4 p.m. to 11 p.m., and Saturdays from noon to 11 p.m. through the fall. The outdoor beer garden will feature Cisco Brewers’ extensive portfolio of beers on tap, including New England favorites like Whale’s Tale Pale Ale, Grey Lady Wheat Ale, and its newest year-round beer, Gripah, a grapefruit session IPA, as well as Nantucket Vineyards Wines and Malus Malum Ciders. The official address is 85 Seaport Blvd.

A portion of the proceeds from the Seaport location will support the Massachusetts Fallen Heroes Memorial Fund, a Boston-based nonprofit that developed and maintains a memorial in the Seaport honoring service members from across Massachusetts lost in Iraq and Afghanistan.

“Boston has always felt like our off-island home. Many of the guests who visit us in ACK are from Boston, so we wanted to take a slice of what we do on island and bring it here,” said Cisco CEO Jay Harman. “One of the great things about being part of the Seaport neighborhood is that we can directly give back to the Boston community that’s supported us for so long. And we’re proud to support the great work being done by Mass Fallen Heroes on behalf of Gold Star families and veterans statewide”

So make sure to stop by and check it out!

Talk about clickbait……”Coming to SOUTHIE”….. “Cisco Brewers is bringing a slice of Nantucket to the SEAPORT DISTRICT!” ….your ancestors are rolling in their graves!

  2. Tony says

84 Seaport Blvd is just the address of the Moakley Bridge on Google Maps. Is the pop-up on the bridge?

    • Maureen Dahill says

It’s actually 85 Seaport Boulevard. Although Loco has it listed at 84 Seaport Boulevard. It’s right in the middle kind of where Gather/District Hall is.
