One Step Closer to Small Victories Opening in the Neighborhood
A new restaurant is on the horizon for South Boston! The team behind Quiet Few – an East Boston whiskey bar— will be opening a new restaurant and bar called Small Victories at 400 Dorchester Street with an occupancy of 120 with 70-80 seats with the hours of operation of 11am-2am.
According to Universal Hub, the Boston Licensing Board will decide on Thursday whether Small Victories owners can officially purchase the liquor license from the old Backyard Betty’s (now Bar Volpe), which closed back in 2020 thanks to the pandemic. The bar promises to be “cozy” and will have a scratch kitchen.
Universal Hub reported that the Jeffries Point Neighborhood Association reached out to the Andrew Square Civic Association to say that A Quiet Few is a wonderful neighbor and that Small Victories would be a lovely addition to the neighborhood.
Recently, Small Victories posted on Instagram photos of their new building/space, which you can check out here.
The 6-story building in Andrew Square was completed in October 2021 and is a mix of residential and commercial spaces.
