NYE: Where to Ring in 2020!

And just like that, 2019 (and the decade) is almost over.  Here are some of our favorite picks in the neighborhood for New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. (Make sure to check back, as this roundup will be updated!)

Loco

Loco will be hosting Five Days of Brunch from Saturday Dec. 28th to Wednesday Jan. 1st featuring musical entertainment and food & drink specials! 

Roza Lyons

One of the coziest and friendliest bars in Southie, Roza Lyons will be celebrating NYE – open until 2am. Enjoy a champagne toast at midnight! NO COVER CHARGE!

Fat Baby

On New Year’s Eve, DJ Els will be on hand at Fat Baby to help get the party started and ring in the New Year from 10pm-1am!

Capo

Come kick-off the New Year at Capo where they will be serving a special $75 prix-fixe menu in addition to our regular menu items! Downstairs in the Supper Club, they will be accepting dinner reservations from 6-9pm while Legends of Summer Band plays everyone into the new decade starting at 7pm!  Capo will also be open on New Year’s Day for brunch from 10am-3pm and Rich DiMare and the Ron Poster Band will be putting on a special show upstairs from 11am-2pm the while Dalton & the Sheriffs performs from 2-5pm in the Supper Club!

The Broadway

You’re invited to The Broadway’s Snow Ball – brought to you by Ketel One! Tickets are $10 [ALL TICKET PROCEEDS GOING TO THE SOUTH BOSTON BOYS & GIRLS CLUB] Wear your best white attire and enjoy a formal evening with live entertainment by Hit Play – featuring guest artist, and South Boston’s own Annie Cheevers. Coppersmith is hosting a NYE Countdown Party with a James Bond twist! Wear Your best 007 attire and enter for a chance to win $500 in cash prizes!! dbar is hosting a special NYE 4-course dinner for $79 including a glass of sparkling wine!  You can see the full menu here!  This is perfect for an early dinner out! Stick around for the party beginning at 10pm. The New Year’s Eve Gold Party will feature VJ Ryan Grow from 10pm-2am.  Gold attire encouraged.  Never a cover.  Always a blast.

Lincoln

New Year’s Day brunch: Celebrate the New Year at Lincoln brunch on January 1st! They’ll be serving up all your favorites to help you recover from your celebrations, as well as some fun food and drink specials including 750ml Miller High Lifes so you can toast the 2020 with the “champagne of beers”! DJ Lay-Z-Boy will also be on deck to keep the party going from 11am-2pm!

Seapoint

It’s no fuss NYE at one of our favorite Southie spots – the Seapoint! Enjoy a steak tip dinner and play some pool. Share some appetizers like their delicious potato skins and watch a game. And then ring in 2019 with friends and neighbors! Plenty of parking and No Cover!

Dorchester Brewing Co

The time has come!  Dorchester Brewing Co. will be ringing in 2020 with a New Year’s Eve Extravaganza and revealing their new expansion! Take in the new space including Hopservatory, the 4 season Rooftop Greenhouse overlooking Boston, game room, restaurant and more luxurious tap room space! In addition to craft beer, Dorchester Brewing Co now serves cider and wine so drinks for everyone!  Get more details here!

Backyard Betty’s

Backyard Betty’s will feature a retro themed NYE party, serving dinner from 4-11 followed by a party will include some light snacks. The tickets are being sold at www.bostonNYE.com. Backyard Betty’s will also be open for a Pajama Brunch Party starting at 11 am on New Year’s Day.

Lower Mills Tavern

Ring in 2020 at the Lower Mills Tavern.  They’ll feature a full dinner with some NYE specials.  At 10pm the party will start with live Irish sessions until 12am!  Reservations are strongly recommended.

Lion’s Tail

Lion’s Tail is hosting their last bash on NYE eve before it transfers over into Yellow Door Taqueria.  No cover!  LT cocktails and complimentary appetizers!  Doors open at 8pm on December 30th (New Year’s Eve Eve).
