Looks like Southie is getting a Taco Bell…

but a fancy Taco Bell
Universal Hub is reporting that the City of Boston Licensing Board will hear a proposal for a Taco Bell Cantina at 449 West Broadway.
What is Taco Bell Cantina? Glad you asked, it’s basically a step above a regular old Taco Bell except it has an “urban vibe, open kitchen, and sharable appetizers.” This new “cantina” hopes to have 14 seats and a closing time of 2am. You know, to cater to the post-dancing at Capo crowd
The hearing will take place on Wednesday, October 27th at 10am.
