Loco & Fat Baby staff relief funding & Quarantine Cocktail Kits

The Loco and Fat Baby teams have been working to come up with fun ways to contribute to their staff relief funds that are also interactive for people stuck at home. They want to remain a source of joy for their patrons, especially during these uncertain times. Here are the initiatives:

COVD-18: NHL Golf Auction

The premise: Ryan Whitney, Keith Yandle, Chris Wagner, Kevin Jayes, Jimmy Hayes, and Mark Fayne will be donating their time and golf skills to 8 lucky golfers this summer! All of them are current and former NHLers who will be taking out four groups of two to play a fourball this summer in June or July (depending on schedule)

How it works: Teams of two will bid on the opportunity to play with two NHLers. They will be running the auction via Loco and Fat Baby Instagram pages.

What you get: A day at Wollaston Golf Club in Milton. A round of 18 holes, fun time spent with some great guys, a ton of Pink Whitney, beers and dinner after the round. This is not a charity tournament, it is quite the opposite. It is a day on the course with the boys, to enjoy some golf, laughs and to raise some money for the Fat Baby and Loco Staff fund.

Who it helps: The kitchen teams at Loco and Fat Baby. There has been such an outpouring of support for all of our team, bartenders, servers, etc. but one part of our team that needs it badly is our kitchen staff. All of the money raised from this specific auction will be allocated to help our most in need on the culinary teams at both restaurants.

When: They will launch in the coming days. The auction will run for 3 days. We will regularly update where bids are at via our insta stories and facebook outlets.

Loco Madness Bracket

You don’t need sports for a little friendly competition—and this one’s for a good cause! They will be hosting a virtual Loco Madness bracket where all entry fees ($50) will be going to the Loco & Fat Baby staff. They will be hosting daily polls for people to move forward in their brackets, with the final showdown taking place on April 7th. The winner will receive a tequila dinner for 10! Quarantine Cocktail Kits

Loco and Fat Baby will be adding Quarantine Cocktail Kits to their delivery and pickup menus! These cocktail kits will feature three of the most popular drinks: The Britney (Loco) The Coco (Loco) Baby Got Back (Fat Baby) and will include non-alcoholic ingredients and a recipe card. They are also filming and posting fun tutorials featuring some our beloved Broadway Restaurant Group characters in order to stay connected with our guests and bring a little laughter to their lives!
