New menu

Local 149 (149 P St.)  is shaking things up in the menu department. There are some new additions such as the Double Cut Porkchop with creamy cabbage, honey mustard glaze, and a caraway risotto cake, or vegetarian Wild Mushroom Linguini with warm pea ricotta, truffled split pea puree, and parmesan.  There are also some old favorites like Chicken and Waffle with warm maple syrup, nutmeg butter and apricot jam or Local’s Hog Wings with a buffalo glaze and bleu cheese dressing.

Also on deck daily specials like Fish Tacos, a Fisherman’s Platter and a hearty Bolgnese.  Venture out this week and give it a try!   Local 149 also serves brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11am-4pm.

will never go back. food was good but service was terrible. second time there. convinced it was because we were 50 yo southie natives. talked to several others and they breceived the same treatment. well, local 149 sorry to bother you. wont be back. i will take my business to every other southie eatery along with my friends. you can keep your young hip clientele and their fancy brews. cant even get a coors lite there.
