for the Quencher Tavern

The legendary Quencher Tavern (170 I Street) will officially close its doors on Sunday, November 10th.  Located on the ground floor of a triple-decker, the Q is a cozy spot so to accommodate for the many fans coming to bid farewell, the Quencher will have an old fashioned block party.

The block of I street between Sixth and Seventh will be blocked off for the festivities.  There will be live music featuring the Linehan Brothers and The Brigade.  The fun happens between 1pm-5pm.

Raise a glass to the Quencher!  Monday, is a holiday – Veteran’s Day – so bottoms up!

  1. Spent many a nights, both week and weekend in there.  One of the true local hidden gems that was much more fun on any given night than one of the crowded broadway bars.

    Will be sorely missed!
