Fort Point hotspot throws it back for an après ski affair worthy of Aspen
Call all ski bunnies, ‘boarders and ‘80s babies! On January 14, City Tap House will be throwing it back to the “era of excess” for a 1980s-themed après ski affair worthy of Aspen. The Fort Point hotspot will be decked in chalet-esque décor to match your legwarmers, teased hair and faux furs so come dressed to impress because the best tackiest cold-weather ensemble will snowshoe home with a prize.
The evening of nostalgia will have a live DJ spinning the best of glam rock and headbanging hits while you capture the moment in an interactive photo booth. In between taking shot-skis with your three besties, head to the bar for cocktail specials ($15 each) like the Skinny Sailor with Sailor Jerry rum, pineapple juice and ginger ale and Ski Bum with Maker’s Mark, lemon juice and maple syrup garnished with a rosemary sprig.
City Tap House – 10 Boston Wharf Road
Sunday, January 14, 5-8pm
Complimentary admission. Specials available at a la carte pricing.
