Harry Potter Trivia, Drinksgiving & Thanksgiving at City Tap House
Fort Point beer paradise welcomes Hogwarts & holidays
City Tap House is rolling out its November lineup to welcome scholars of Hogwarts and those home for the holidays. On November 18, slip into your wizardly robe (pointy hats encouraged) for a Harry Potter Trivia Brunch with a special guest appearance by Lord Voldemort. City Tap will be transforming into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with décor while mixing up potent potions ($15 each): Unicorn Blood with silver tequila, elderflower liqueur and lemon juice with a glittering rim; Hair of the Three-Headed Dog, a tequila-laced Bloody Mary with a Modelo floater and celery stick; and Boozy Butter Beer with vanilla vodka, butterscotch syrup and cream soda topped with whipped cream and a drizzle of caramel. The team with the most HP knowledge will reenter the mortal world with a cash prize while the two runner ups will take home City Tap gift cards.
On Thanksgiving Eve, assemble your high school reunion crew as City Tap opens their doors for their annual “Drinksgiving” party complete with sounds by DJ Wyatt. On Thanksgiving Day, put on the stretchy pants and settle into your “House” away from home with a traditional Turkey Day feast ($28). Start out with a beet and goat cheese salad before moving onto the main course of roasted turkey, mashed potatoes, house-made cranberry relish, stuffing, maple-thyme Brussels sprouts and, of course, stuffing. Save room for dessert, a no-bake pumpkin cheesecake.
Harry Potter Trivia Brunch: Saturday, November 18, 12-3pm
Drinksgiving: Wednesday, November 22, 8pm-12am
Thanksgiving: Thursday, November 23, 3-9pm
