It’s 12 o’clock somewhere.

Who doesn’t love drinks and appetizers?  It’s a great excuse to meet up with old friends, begin your night out or get to know someone new. Southie’s newest restaurant Local 149 (149 P Street) has some unique and delicious items on their menu we’d like to introduce you to.  Feast your eyes on these!

Braised pork cheeks with a housemade smoked celery root and plum tomato barbecue. Wrapped in wonton and pan fried. ($4 each)

Mini braised pork shanks in a sweet chili hoisin sauce, deep fried. ($4 each)

Wash it down with one of these

Moscow Mule created with local vodka, fresh lime, house-made ginger beer, in a solid copper mug over crushed ice ($9). Yum!

Meet your friends at Local 149.  It’s a new neighborhood joint and if you haven’t been yet, these appetizers and the Moscow Mule are the perfect excuse to go.
