Al Fresco! It’s that time of year.
Time to shift from indoors to outdoors and Barlow’s is the perfect spot for summer appetizers and cocktails al fresco. Nestled in the heart of the Fort Point area of Southie, Barlow’s patio is spacious and pretty. Enjoy the glimmering view of the city at dusk while you sip a cocktail and share some small plates with a friend.
And everyday Monday through Friday from 3pm-6pm, it’s happy hour at Barlow’s. All appetizers and oysters are half price making them taste just a little more delicious. Yum!
Feast your eyes on these:
Cucumber Martini – Hendricks Gin, muddled cucumber, fresh lemon and lime juice, simple syrup, topped with cyan pepper
White Fish Tacos – Haddock soaked in buttermilk and lightly dredged in clam fry and corn meal, served on grilled tortillas with shredded lettuce, house made pepper salsa and avocado cream.
BBQ Pulled pork sliders – Slow roasted pork in house tossed in BBQ sauce, served with house made spicy cole slaw, on mini brioche slider buns
Oysters – Fresh shucked local oysters, served with house made cocktail sauce and champagne mignonette.
