Rumor has it, they are closed for good.
Caught in Southie was alerted to Salsas’s (118 Dorchester Street) windows being papered over with the sign “Closed For Renovations” displayed few weeks back. But according to Boston Eater, Salsa’s may in fact be closed for good. http://bostonrestaurants.blogspot.com/2015/11/salsas-in-south-boston-has-apparently.html?m=0 Just one of the many old school restaurants and bars that have closed in the past few years.
As to whether this is in fact true, time will tell. Salsa’s opened in Southie back in the late 1990s. We have our fingers crossed that they will open new and improved!
