Well, if you’re on twitter, I’m sure you’ve seen the rumors circulating that Franklin Southie is closing.  While it is sort of true, an anonymous but reliable source has confirmed to Caught in Southie, that a potential new ownership is in the works and that Southie will not be disappointed.

In other food rumors, the new restaurant that is taking over the old Rainbow Dragon/Pan Asia spot at F and Broadway is hoping to open its doors by end of 2014.  Renovations are moving along quickly and this new spot is rumored to be a Mexican joint.  No word on names yet but wer’e hoping it’s called El Southie Mexicano.  Intially, we heard it was going to be an Asian/Mexican fusion restaurant but Lee Chen’s has that market cornered.  General Gau Burrito anyone?

For you health nuts, we hear two juice bars are opening in Southie.  The Daily Squeeze will open at 709 East Broadway (in the Urban Art Bar – mornings only) and their second location will be at 359 West Broadway.

So stay tuned.

In other rumor news, an undisclosed and reliable source has confirmed that a group in Florida is interested in buying the Chiefs.  More to follow.

Also heard last week from our server at Owl Station will be closing at the end of November. What is happening with all of the West Side restaurants?

A simple way to conceptualize the RAS is to think of it like a radio.
68MB space on your phone and have access to your personal information and
many other details. The last few months of that year,
however, as the tumor grew and she became less comfortable, I consulted with her
psychically regarding her quality of life.

Think west broadway is in need for more high quality restaurants – non average pizza/roast beef take out places. Franklin is one of the few quality resteraunts with nice atmosphere in the area (besides Stephis/Lincoln/Local 149)

It seems like there will be alot of open space for leasing coming with some of these new condos being built owith retail/resteraunt open space so should be interesting what happens.  Someone should replace that Golden House/vaccant lot.  Looks like crap everytime I drive by.
