Here’s a fun way you can help support the kitchen staff of Fat Baby and Loco!
The premise: Ryan Whitney, Keith Yandle, Chris Wagner, Kevin Jayes, Jimmy Hayes, and Mark Fayne will be donating their time and golf skills to 8 lucky golfers this summer! All of them are current and former NHLers who will be taking out four groups of two to play a fourball this summer in June or July (depending on schedule).
How it works: Teams of two will bid on the opportunity to play with two NHLers. To enter, people can send a direct message of their bid on Instagram to @locosouthbos or email [email protected].
What they get: A round of 18 holes, fun time spent with some great guys, a ton of Pink Whitney, beers and dinner after the round. This is not a charity tournament, it is quite the opposite. It is a day on the course with the boys, to enjoy some golf, laughs and to raise some money for the Fat Baby and Loco Staff fund.
Who it helps: The kitchen teams at Loco and Fat Baby. There has been such an outpouring of support for all of our team, bartenders, servers, etc. but one part of our team that needs it badly is our kitchen staff. All of the money raised from this specific auction will be allocated to help our most in need on the culinary teams at both restaurants.
Golf Date: As soon as we get the green light to schedule, we will! It will be end of July or early August date.
The auction will run for three days, with the winners being announced at 5pm on Thursday, April 2nd.
