Boston Restaurant Talk is reporting that Boardwalk Pizza will be opening soon in the old AK’s spot at the corner of D and Second Street (the old Teamsters Pub for all you lifelong residents).
This will be Boardwalk Pizza’s second location. Its first opened at Marina Bay back in 2020 and features thin crust pizzas and sandwiches.
Boston Magazine recently included Boardwalk Pizza in their roundup of Where to Find the Best Pizza in Boston Right Now (although Quincy is not Boston) so that sounds promising!

Boardwalk Pizza is absolutely hands down the best pizza in all of Boston / greater Boston. It can’t be beat. Friendly workers, amazing food, quick service, good price.
