Cheers to National Beer Day – Celebrate in South Boston
National Beer Day is April 7th! Lucky for us, there are plenty of local spots where you can properly celebrate! From seemingly endless draft lists to beer-only specials, whack a few back at these neighborhood spots.
Castle Island Brewing
This new hot spot in Southie is a beer lovers dream! Since 2015, Castle Island Brewing been cranking out award-winning beers for the Boston area and beyond. Now their new taproom features an impressive selection of beer including their core lineup like Keeper, Candlepin, White, Hi-Def + more plus limited releases Razz Dazz, Pleasure Cruise and more. Pairs perfectly with Bardo’s – their in-house pizza spot!
Lincoln Tavern & Restaurant
Grab a seat at the bar at Lincoln, or a table and enjoy a rotating draught list paired with some really good bar food like their goat cheese dip and spicy wings!
Roza Lyons
This local favorite features a dozen beers on draft in 16 oz or 22 oz size! You can also try local craft brews in bottles in cans in addition to the classic Bud Lite. Beer pair perfectly with their pretzels and cheese dip!
Lola Burger
LoLa Burger in Boston’s Seaport will be offering new beer flights I wanted to reach out to see if you’d be interested in visiting LoLa Burger next week for a complimentary lunch or dinner to try their new flights! Beer flights include four glasses of 6 oz. beers. Guests can choose from a selection of 10 beers: Mighty Squirrel Cloud Candy, Lord Hobo 617 IPA, Maine Beer Co. Lunch, Allagash White, Zero Gravity Green State, Samuel Adams Seasonal, Harpoon Winter Warmer, Whalers Rise, Stella Artois, or Wölffer Rose. With over 25 beers to choose from, you’re bound to find something you like at Local 149. Plus, they like to give local breweries the spotlight. (Hence the name..)
The Broadway
The Broadway features a vast variety of drafts and bottles and highlights and supports local breweries! You can also order a hoppy flight featuring local IPAs. Order up some wings or street corn nachos to go with your beer!
Worden Hall
In addition to a seasonal food menu, Worden Hall has an extensive craft beverage program with 40 rotating draft beers! Featuring everything from hoppy + crisp to sour and dark, there is something for everyone!
