Cheers to 30 Years! Beloved Southie Restaurant Celebrates a Milestone

It’s not every day a neighborhood gem hits the big 3-0, but this week, Southie is raising a glass to one of its most cherished spots. Cafe Porto Bello, located right on East Broadway, is celebrating three decades of serving up delicious Italian food, good vibes, and that signature Southie hospitality we all know and love.
Since opening its doors in 1994, this family-owned staple has been a go-to for everything from their Monday night pasta special, a date night, a family get-together, or their legendary party trays.
So, if you haven’t been in a while, consider this your sign to swing by, order the Chicken Parm, and show some love. Here’s to 30 years—and hopefully, 30 more!
Let us know what your favorite memory of Cafe Porto Bello is in the comments below! Here’s one of ours!

Excellent food and service. Congratulations on 30 years.
For the 14 years we lived there, pretty much every year that’s where my wife and I went for dinner with family, and whenever we’re back in Southie, we always stop in.
The best! Congrats
