In the ever-changing landscape of new restaurants in South Boston, the neighborhood of Fort Point is evolving at a fast and furious pace!  Bastille Kitchen – a new french restaurant – will open its doors on Monday, July 28th at 49 Melcher Street.  The $4 million newly renovated textile factory will house a 300 seat restaurant with a menu that includes traditional items such as steak tartar, escargot and bouillabaisse to fresh local seafood and beef short rib wellington. 

Bastille Kitchen will be open from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 p.m. On Fridays and Saturdays until midnight The upstairs bar and the downstairs “Chalet Bar” will be open from 4:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. daily.
