Barlows will be closing its doors for good on Friday

According to Boston Restaurant Blog, Barlow’s on A Street will be closing on Friday for good. The restaurant is located in the historic Frederick Barlow Building – which was sold by Superior Dining Group to Akelius – a real estate rental company back in 2019 for $18M. Boston.com reported that Barlow’s signed a year lease with the new owner of the building and the lease is up in August.
The building was last sold in 2008 for $3.5M. Holy Moly!
