In other Southie sushi news, it looks like the Purple Shell has officially closed its doors. According to several people in the know, the Asian-inspired restaurant located next to Broadway Station is now closed. The Purple Shell opened back in 2019. This news comes on the heels that Worden Hall, across from Broadway Station also closed its doors.
A new Indian fusion restaurant is expected to replace Worden Hall.

Poor purple shell. They could never bounce back after the pandemic, then they had a flood and closed again and could never get staffed, it seemed.
