Thanks to the Nor’easter on Wednesday night, Southie lost three tress – count ’em one, two, three (that we know of).
One fell on L Street between Sixth and Seventh at approximately 10pm. Two more fell during the night – one on Sixth near K and the other on Seventh near H.
Luckily, no one was hurt and crews from the Department of Public Works did a top notch job removing them. The caution tape and safety cones left around the stumps were a nice touch adding to the drama of the the blustery night in Southie.
Makes us not want to park under leaning trees – but then again parking in Southie is at a premium so we’ll risk a dented hood or smashed windshield. Timber!
