Haul out the holly and hang those twinkle lights. The 3rd Annual Caught in Southie Holiday Stoop Stroll is back with even more holiday cheer, including a month-long self-guided stroll, a festive celebration in City Point on Saturday, December 12th, and a few surprises.

Once again, we’re bringing neighbors together to celebrate the season while supporting the South Boston Neighborhood House (The Ollie).

Calling All Festive Stoops

Do you go all out with your holiday decorations? Have you been waiting for an excuse to cover your front steps in garland, bows, wreaths, and lights? Well, this is your moment.

We’re looking for South Boston homeowners and residents to participate in this year’s Holiday Stoop Decorating Competition. Whether your style is classic Christmas, colorful and over-the-top, or something completely creative, we want to see it.

A Month of Holiday Cheer

This year, the festivities begin the first week in December, when participating homes start showing off their holiday decorations.

Neighbors and visitors can enjoy a self-guided Holiday Stoop Stroll throughout South Boston. We’ll share a special digital map of participating homes so you can explore the decorated stoops at your own pace. The self-guided stroll will run throughout December, giving everyone plenty of time to enjoy the displays.

Save the Date: Saturday, December 12th

On Saturday, December 12th, from 4pm to 6pm, we’ll host a special Holiday Stoop Stroll celebration in City Point, bringing neighbors together for a festive evening of touring decorated stoops, holiday cheer, and giving back to the Ollie. Plus, we’ve got a few surprises in store. Stay tuned for more details.

The best part? It’s all for the Ollie.

For more than 125 years, the South Boston Neighborhood House has been supporting local families through youth programs, senior services, family resources, and community events.

The Holiday Stoop Stroll celebrates everything that makes Southie special while supporting an organization that does so much for our neighborhood.
