History in Motion – Canceled due to weather

USS Constitution is scheduled to get underway on Friday, September 25th from Charlestown Navy Yard at 10:00 A.M. The cruise will be visible from the Boston Harborwalk, Castle Island, and Charlestown Navy Yard. A 21-gun salute will be fired at approximately 11:30 A.M., viewable from Fort Independence on Castle Island. Followed by a 17-gun salute in front of the US Coast Guard Base around 12:25pm.

Colin’s Joy Project Breakfast + Merch

Unfortunately, the impending Nor’easter has canceled the scheduled Colin’s Joy Project 5K, but that doesn’t stop the party! On Saturday, September 26th from 9am to 12pm, stop by South Boston Catholic Academy for bagels + coffee, music, and merch! If you registered, come by for your free race shirt. Show this important community organization some love by stopping by to pick up merch or make a donation. 

Robot Block Party 

MassRobotics hosts its annual visual STEM gathering in the Seaport this Saturday, September 26th from 10:45 am to 4pm! Admission is completely free, bringing thousands of local families together for an exciting day of innovation. Kicking off with a Robot Sidewalk Parade at 10:45am, the event features interactive demonstrations from over 50 technology firms, academic institutions, and student groups! Expect incredible sights as machines march, glide, soar, and splash!
