Hallelujah! Stop & Shop on East Broadway to close for a remodel.
Well, this is very encouraging news! Stop & Shop is closing for a few weeks to undergo much-needed renovations. After years of complaints, articles, and Instagram posts, the supermarket finally got the message that changes were needed.

And then this on Instagram.
A sign is now hanging on the front of the building on East Broadway that reads Stop & Shop will be closed for a “quick remodel” (let’s hope it’s more) from July 30th – August 14th at 7 am.
So here’s hoping we soon will get the supermarket this neighborhood deserves – new and much improved!
