Visa, Street Soccer USA and Bank of America launch new Visa Street Soccer Park in South Boston

Visa, Street Soccer USA (SSUSA), and Bank of America have teamed up to create Visa Street Soccer Parks across the U.S., with the latest park opening in South Boston. These vibrant public spaces are designed to bring people together, foster youth development, and strengthen the local community. Located in the heart of South Boston, the newly unveiled park will feature two Bank of America soccer fields with professional-grade turf, a financial education learning center, and flexible spaces for community events.

Timed to build momentum leading into one of the biggest soccer moments in U.S. history, the event will include more than 150 kids and families, a ribbon-cutting ceremony, and an inaugural youth match featuring SSUSA athletes. Attendees will also enjoy interactive soccer clinics, local food vendors, and family-friendly programming that reflects the spirit of the space: inclusive, energetic, and community-driven.

When: Wednesday, June 3 at 4pm.

Speakers and attendees will include representatives from Visa, Street Soccer USA, and Bank of America, along with community leaders, youth athletes, and local nonprofit partners. Confirmed speakers include Street Soccer USA CEO Lawrence Cann, Visa Senior Vice President Shawn Randall and Bank of America Massachusetts President Miceal Chamberlain.

This initiative reflects the shared belief that access to safe, inspiring spaces can uplift and strengthen local communities through the unifying power of soccer. The Visa Street Soccer Park is more than a venue—it’s a platform for progress, connection and community, where young people build confidence, families come together, and local businesses thrive.
