Whole Foods Market coming to Seaport

According to the Boston Business Journal, a new smaller-format Whole Foods Market is headed to the Seaport. The grocery chain announced plans to open one of its “Daily Shop” locations at 111 Harbor Way, bringing grab-and-go meals, pantry staples, fresh produce, prepared foods, and other everyday essentials to the neighborhood.
The new concept is designed for city living, with a smaller footprint and a streamlined shopping experience aimed at busy urban customers. The Seaport location will be one of three new Daily Shop stores planned across the country, alongside locations in Chicago and Philadelphia.
The address 111 Harbor Way is home to Amazon’s Boston offices. Amazon owns Whole Foods.
The building is part of a larger mixed-use project from WS Development. The first two floors of the 17-floor building are designed for retail.
No word yet on when the build-out will begin. Stay tuned!
Sounds promising!
