The Best!

In honor of Mayor Marty Walsh’s shoutout to Doughboy Donuts last week at his US Labor Secretary hearing, the legendary Southie donut shop and deli is serving up a medium coffee called the “Mayor’s Cup” for $1.75 plus tax.

A sign on the door of Doughboy Donuts can be found that reads the following:

And just in true Phyllis fashion, the note ends with “Don’t expect this as a daily thing, it might be every Wednesday, I will let you know.”

Phyllis Fandel is the owner of Doughboy Donuts and was less than impressed with the mayor’s mention during the hearing. Instead she was more annoyed with the constant phone calls she was receiving.  You can see the viral video here. 

Anyway, stop by on a Wednesday from the hours of midnight to noon.  It might be every Wednesday or maybe not.
