Development News: 206 West Broadway

The South Boston Neighborhood Development Corporation announced that sixteen affordable units at 206 West Broadway are officially open and rented! There are a mix of studios and one-bedroom for people earning up to 70% of the area median income.
206 West Broadway is SBNDC’s first environmentally-conscious community. The apartments are built along an MBTA bus route, with Broadway Station just two blocks away, allowing for easy access to public transportation as well as many restaurants, shops and other services. The building includes covered, secure indoor bike parking for each apartment and residents are encouraged to sign a car-free pledge in exchange for a discounted CharlieCard.
The first floor of the building will be home to Olga’s Kafe, a locally-owned coffee shop that will open in the fall. Big news!
