Chefs in Shorts

Now in its 22nd year, Chefs in Shorts brings together a group of the area’s top culinary talents who fire up the grills and create their best dishes during this expansive outdoor, summer-in-the-city barbeque hosted at the Seaport Hotel & World Trade Center. Join some of Boston’s best chefs on June 21 for an evening of grill-offs, desserts, beer, wine and fun to again benefit Future Chefs, a local nonprofit focused on first careers in the culinary arts. Attendees also will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite creation. $90 per person (includes admission with complimentary beer, wine and culinary tastings).  Tickets must be purchased in advanced. ICA Sun Bar Celebration

Now open for the summer! SunBar, a pop-up cafe featuring coffee, quick lunch and snacks, and drinks (Frozé! Lord Hobo! wine from Archer Roose!) to enjoy outside by the water during your visit to the ICA. Boston Pick Fair

On June 22nd the Boston Pickle Fair is returning for it’s third consecutive year.  Come to the Innovation and Design Building in the Seaport to enjoy all things pickle-related, along with outdoor music, games, contests, and local vendors!  Keep in mind there are two sessions, so make sure you purchase the right tickets for the session of your choice!  You can learn more here!

Free Concert on Dorchester Heights

Join the National Park Service, the Dorchester Heights Associations, and Boston Harbor Now for a FREE summer evening concert on Saturday, June 22nd from 6pm-8pm.  Featuring live music from Mestiza, a latin band from Berklee College of Music and fun for the whole family presented by Knucklebones, including lawn games, and face painting! National Park Rangers will also be providing history interpretation. 5th Annual Donny Higgins Street Hockey Tournament

Come on out for a day of good old fashioned family fun on Farragut Road on Saturday, June 22nd and Sunday, June 23rd at the Donny Higgins Memorial Street Hockey Tournament. The day kicks off with a day-long street hockey tournament at the outdoor rink. Whether you play or watch and cheer, this will be an exciting day of sportsmanship. Get your dancing shoes ready!

DotOUT is kicking off the first tea dance of summer at dbar on Sunday, June 23rd from 4pm-8pm! DJ Ranny will be spinning the tunes to keep everyone dancing and there will be rad raffles, glam performances and more! $15 is suggested donation and 100% of proceed will benefit College Bound Dorchester and Equality Texas!
