Boston’s Oldest Continuous Italian Festival!

All Weekend Long:

• Cooking Demonstrations presented by Lily’s Pasta and Bono Olive Oil: MasterChef 10 Contestant Kenny Palazzolo, along with Local and Celebrity Chefs, will showcase their talents and share their recipes as it relates to Italian Cuisine. Stop by and witness fabulous demonstrations and pick up some helpful tips from the experts.

Thursday, Aug 17th , 2023

• 6:00pm: Opening Ceremonies: La Madonna Del Soccorso will process to the Christopher Columbus WaterFront Park for the Annual blessing of the Fishing Waters.
• 7:30pm: Italian American of the year Award Presentation: This year’s recipient is Comites Boston
• 7:30pm-10:30pm: Special Live performance by Déjà Vu in the Stella Artois Fleet Street Beer Garden
• 8:30p-10:30pm: Introducing Una Serata Italiana Straight from New York Recording Artists Angelo Venuto, Charlie P, Lisa Mesina, and John Micalizzi, will sing favorite Italian American Hits

Friday, Aug 18th

• 4:30pm: Fisherman’s Feast Carnivale Show: Parade through the Feast with Carnivale style floats and dancers.

: The 5th Annual Best Meatball Competition hosted by Wicked Bites host Steve D’Amato, and The Boston Guido : Come take part in choosing who, out of the 10-12 best restaurant’s around Massachusetts, has the best meatballs

Sunday, August 20th, 2023

: High Mass in honor of La Madonna Del Soccorso Di Sciacca held at St Leonard’s Church.
• 12:30pm
: Grand procession of la Madonna through the streets of the North End accompanied by Marching bands and floats.

• 2:30pm-7:30pm: 2 Live Show’s by the Reminiscents
• 8:30-10:30pm: Boston’ own DooWop Accapella Group Street Magic.
• 9:00pm
: The Famous Flight of the Angel. As the statue of the Madonna returns to North Street for the finale of the day long procession she is greeted by a crowd of enthusiastic spectators, each waiting for the opportunity to witness the Famous Flight of the Angel.
 Yankee Magazine calls it “truly one of Boston’s greatest treasures” and National Geographic say’s “It’s a spectacle NOT to be missed!’” As the angel ceremony is completed the spectators below are covered by a snowfall of confetti paper. This year’s Flying Angel is April Palazzolo Cedano, with side angels Sarah Bramante and Jillian Fialkosky
